Mute/censor a word or 2

New to the program. Does anybody know how to mute a very small part of a video using Shotcut? There are some words I need cut out in a few videos & any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

In addition to the Mute audio filter, you can also inject a beep tone.

You can change the tone and the volume of the tone.
