Jittery pan with still image

Hello,

I’m trying to pan from left to right on a still image. When using keyframes with the “size, position and rotate” filter, the pan looks very jittery. Is there a way to get a smooth pan?

When this happens, it usually means the Video Mode has a frame rate that is too low. Another potential issue is simply panning faster than the frame rate can support. Pans will not have motion blur added by Shotcut, so that limits the pan speed even more.

Introduction Video Mode is the project resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate, and color space. It is important to set this as you desire at the beginning of your project. If you try to change it later Shotcut will try to retain the timing of edits, but some users have reported problems, and it is risky. If you do not increase the frame rate of Video Mode, then this means you need to make the image longer duration.
