I’ve done some editing on my clips, removing pieces I don’t want. Now I’d like to combine them back together in a single clip. I want this because there are too many little pieces to work with now. Trying to rearrange all those little bits, or add filters, is problematic. How can I merge two clips into one clip?
Use the merge with next clip function.
I don’t see that option.
I have Shotcut version 19.02.28 (it updated a couple days ago)
That option only works on clips from the same source. And there must be no missing bits.

How can I move several clips at a time?
Click the Ripple button on the Timeline toolbar.
