VST Plugins Integration

Hi there, Is it possible to integrate third-party VST plugins? I want to spruce up my background audio with some cool drum effects. But I am not sure if there is an easy workaround to this. Tbh, it would be great to do some lightweight audio editing (effects and such) on a video editing software. Any help would be much appreciated.

VST Plugins like Marvel Eq or De-Esser

Hallo, it would be wonderful, if vst plugins in the future were useable. At the moment i export the audio track as wav to audacity und use in audacity: Spitfish De-Esser www.digitalfishphones.com and the Marvel EQ from Voxengo. And of course the compressor from audacity maybe my wishes will be answered and you could use the VST plugins directly in shotcut. Best Regard - Stefan Franz
