Exported in 720p by mistake but lost source

Hey guys I shot my video at 1080p 60FPS. edited it and exported default I thought it would keep my 1080p but ever since i guess I updated the program its doing 720p.

Now I lost the edited source but I have my exported vids in 720p. can i open them completed and re-render them in 1080p 60fps?

or is that impossible and pointless? please help!

Two things will trade off:

1. A 1080p camera - 720p file - 1080p display will have more “definition” than a 720p camera - 720p file - 1080p display provided that a good quality frame size filter is used.
2. Concatenating codecs will degrade the quality.

So basically, choose the highest quality frame size filter from the drop down and give it a go - it may work. It will not be as good as exporting in 1080p originally but may be slightly better than your original.
