I tried to create an animated text based on an Youtube. I discovered that the filter page of Text Simple is not displayed completely. A few bottoms lines are missing. Please help.
In addition, most of info is very clear but some is just a icon without information. I tried to look for documents that explain each filter page and other pages but cannot find any.
Like on the Filter page of Text Simple, there are icons look like a clock next to Font, Outline, Background, on the left side of Position/Size and in lines hidden below the page. When I point the mouse to any of them, I got “Use keyframes for his parameter”. What does it means and how to use it? This is why it is very difficult to learn Shotcut without info. I believe that there is a document that explain all but it do not accessible to new users. Such document should be reached easily.
To see more of the filter UI:
- use the vertical scroll bar at the right of the Filters panel, or
- change the height of the Timeline.

There is already a lot, not hidden, and placed in various obvious places to look.
For the filter page, clicking on Logging on the top right corner of the screen, the Filter page or Properties page is switched completely to the right. All details about the page is shown as it covers the whole vertical area of the screen allowing more space to display.
By clicking on FX, Filter page and Keyframes are switched to the left of the screen. In this FX, Filters page details are displayed on the right of filter list instead of below this list allowing more space to display more details.
After watching a few YouTube about Keyframes, I now know that the icons look like a clock is called Keyframes icons, that is to activate Motion Keyframes.
Yes, it takes me a while to figure out.
