Add subtitle to a movie

Hi @Motim

  1. Import your video in the timeline
  2. Open the Subtitles panel
    (if you don’t see it, go to Menu > View and choose Subtitles)
  3. In the Subtitles menu, choose Import Subtitles From File

To display the subtitles on the screen, go back to the Subtitles menu and choose either:

  1. Burn In Subtitles on Output
    This options allows you to see the actual subtitles on the screen, and they are automatically updated if you edit the text/position/length of any subtitle.
  2. Generate Text on Timeline
    Also allows to see the subtitles on screen, but they won’t be updated if you make any edit (in the panel). So it’s best to use that option when you are sure that all the subtitles are correct. The advantage is that you can edit the style (font, color, size etc…) of each subtitle if you want.
