Workaround to Typewriter effect not starting in beginning of clip

Hello…

Same for Me on Shotcut 26.4.30 latest Ubuntu Resolute 26.04 LTS. To fix this problem I place the cursor in the beginning on the clip and change the “Typewriter rate“ param from the default to 7 from 8 and back to 8 or to another value, then only the “char-by-char-typing” effect starts from the begining. Otherwise when you change the text, the effect starts from the actual position of the cursor inside the clip. Not a problem for me…

Thanks for this wonderful product.

Small idea: why not automatically add the “Size-Pos-Rotate” filter to all objects on the Timeline ? This filter is almost always required, adding it manually each time is repetitive…

Thanks again.

I do not need that one very often, but I do need to usually add Gain/Volume. I hope to add a way for user to specify default filters to be added automatically. For example, it may be defined like a filter set.
