you haven’t given us much to go on. What is your OS? What version of Shotcut? Is this the first time you’ve used Shotcut? Does this happen with all your attempts or just this one project?
Google this error message and you will see lots of people have this problem with lots of different software. It is likely to be an operating Systsm problem, not Shotcut’s.

One suggestion that has worked for others has to do with Audio on Windows 10. If that is your OS you could try this:

Go to your “Sound” settings by searching in the search bar, navigate to the “Sounds” tab on the settings popup, and set your sound scheme to “No sounds.”

I resolved copying from timeline to source and export from there … all set and worked fine !
