V1 and V2

I have a video on layer V1 and I add layer V2. I can’t overlay a small video on V2; Shotcut inserts the video on layer V1 when I place it on layer V2.

Turn off ripple all tracks. That is not on by default.

Ripple All Tracks has the icon [image] in the Timeline toolbar and menu.
