I am using Nikon/RED official LUTs to make my footage recorded with N-LOG look real again. It seems very dark compared to how KDEnlive does it.

The LUT is N-Log_BT2020_to_REC709_BT1886_size_33.cube from Nikon.
I have tried to follow the instructions here How to Adjust the Intensity of LUTs on Shotcut When Applying a Cinematic Look to Your Videos - but then I seem to loose contrast.
What is your Processing Mode?
It was ‘Linear 10-bit GPU/CPU‘. Now I use ‘Native 10-bit CPU’ - it looks super fine. Thanks!
Most log conversion LUTs assume the color space and transfer function are Rec. 709 since that is what they put in the file they write. Therefore, it would be nice to be able to apply a camera LUT before converting to a working linear.
Sound like a good feature.
For the next release we have added a feature to add a LUT to a clip directly - not as a filter. This applies the lut before any colorspace conversion and would provide the expected results in this case.
