Similar to this issue which was fixed in version 25.01.25.

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
Start project with doubled-frame-rate. eg: 50fps.
Add an appropriate interlaced video source to the playlist (eg: a 25i video)
Go to Properties → Convert to convert to edit-friendly. Click on Advanced
(I always choose “best/biggest” but I don’t think that’s relevant)

Upgrade to the latest version and the problem will be fixed.
