unforuntately the subttile tool does not work for me, does not amtter the language being used. Are there guides on how to fix this issue ?

Hello, Brian. I simply click teh subtitle button, voice to text the transcribe tool which seems to be next to a big A, then it fails. I clicked on the log t ocheck it not sure this is the right procedure

Probably your computer is too oid, and this needs some CPU instructions from the past 10 years. You can search here to look for other discussions about it if you want. Just don’t search on “subtitle” because this is specifically about speech-to-text, which is a small subset of the topic of subtitles. It already does use some CPU detection for graceful degradation, but I am not going to dumb it down anymore.
my cpu is new but I am o na live usb.
OK, sorry I do not know the problem because it works for me on 5 systems with multiple OS including AppImage.

Isaw here and it seems to run it the cpu needs support for avx2, you were on point on it being problematic but it is new. So it must be a personal problem. No worries.
