Sound blip at the end of a clip that was sped up

What is your operating system?
Windows 11, Lenovo ThinkPad P17, i7-11800H, 32gb ram, nvidia rtx a2000 graphics card

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
Split a track, select the area you wish to speed up, change the speed (i use 5x, 10x, 15x and 20x mostly), when the track ends and the next clip begins, there’s a blip of chipmunk sound (didn’t remove audio, didn’t apply pitch compensation)

With your minimal steps, I am not able to reproduce the issue.

Could you share a bit more information?

  • Video Mode settings (Click on Output, then Properties)
  • Video clip properties (Click on the clip, then Properties)
    • Video Resolution & FPS
    • Audio tab: Codec, Channels, Sample Rate

Is the sound blip only heard in the preview?
