On a couple of video clips, my camera didn’t orient the video correctly and so some of them are sideways or upside down.
I used Proxy for editing and in the video clip Properties, I changed the rotation to 90 or 270 degrees accordingly. While editing the clip, it shows in the correct orientation.
I’ve exported the video with it still in proxy mode, and not in proxy mode, but the clip still exports sideways or upside down.
How do I correct this?
I just tested 180 degrees with version 24.06, and it worked for me. You could use the Size, Position & Rotate filter or a different tool to rotate the video.
I’m using 24.04.28.
I had tried the size, position + rotate prior but wasn’t comfortable with it because it rotated but with a black box around. I then needed to zoom to get it to fill the screen so I wasn’t sure if it was still at the same resolution.
That version and 90 degrees worked for me.
