Shotcut is just to big.
Full screen button doesn’t work as well

.
Is there someone who can tell me where the mistake could be …?

What is the native resolution of your Ubuntu system?

This is a known problem with Qt 5.9 high DPI monitor scaling on Linux and/or GNOME Shell:

Run shotcut with command line argument --QT_SCALE_FACTOR 1

Sorry to jump in on this topic…
But - - - doing a search, I can’t find any HIDPI monitors. Are people using smallish 4k units? I have read that HIDPI monitors can be a problem but I can’t even find one to buy on Amazon. Kindly tell me what is going on here.

Thanks,

Thank you for your answer.
You’re my hero of the day
Kind regards

I do not think you can search on Amazon or many other shopping sites using “HiDPI” terminology (aka High DPI). However, you may find articles on the web that suggest some. Yes, people are using 4K+ and QHD monitors and TVs but also, more often than not, high density laptops. The trend more or less started with MacBooks with Retina screens. These are not necessarily 4K.

Thanks for the reply Dan.
