This is another handy feature lacking in Shotcut, the abillity to attach back the audio once detached. I usually detach audio for individually cutting sound and image (in example for making a J or L cuts) and would like to re attach the audio to keep it synced with de video.
That is quite easy: delete the audio clip, select the video clip, and in Properties > Audio > Track choose the audio.
