More efficient way to make multiple keyframed objects move at once?

I have a short statement, and I want each letter to pop up one at a time from off screen. To do that, I did something I found extremely stupid and made 14 video layers. Please tell me there is a more efficient way to do it than this. Sorry if this isn’t formatted properly or if this is a dumb question.

There is the new Text: Typewriter filter, but judging by your screen capture you are looking for more animation (bouncing characters).
So your method is currently the way to do it in Shotcut. You could do it on one track (14 text filter on the clip) but that wouldn’t be much easier or faster to do.

Thank you! I didn’t actually realize you could stack filters like that. I may be stupid.
