Low video resolution

I’m using the latest version of Shotcut. When I play my video, it seems to play in 720p or lower (keep in mind i haven’t exported the video). I don’t know if it has anything to do with video mode, but it’s on 1080p 60fps as shown in the image below:

Most of my recordings and downloads are in 1080p; the ones used for this video are all 1080p.
Do I need to set it to 2160p, make a custom video mode, or something else?

Maybe you’ve turned Preview Scaling ON by mistake.

That will result in lower image quality in the Preview player.

I checked preview scaling, and it’s on none.

Well, you are viewing it in a smaller rectangle on the screen than you may be used to. Otherwise, “seems to” is simply wrong
