How to delete multiple clips at once?

I would have sworn that this was solved for me before, but for the life of me I can’t recall where it is.
There’s an animation I did with an image, now I need that in another project. So I am thinking of opening the project where it is, then “Save it as…” to create a new project, then delete all the clips but the one I need. Then I can bring it into the other project as a clip.
