Beautiful effect. I tested it on a few different videos and they all looked great!
As always, I appreciate your support!
Great to see another Bentacular tutorial - clear and informative as usual, and a really nice effect. Good job!
One thing, I’m getting Chinese (or Asian, not 100% sure) subtitles on YouTube. Is that a setting you made your end or can I change it my end?

Hi @jonray thank you! As for the Chinese subtitles, you can change that under the gear icon on Youtube. You might have Chinese on your default. Cheers!
Ah, yes, indeed I can! Odd, though, because there is no way I would have set it to Chinese. In fact just yesterday I was getting English subtitles on other YT videos. Hmm, no idea, but I have now changed it to English anyway. Thanks @bentacular !
hello people
how to do the effect shown on 0:24 / 0:25 on above video ?
All right! I finally got use out of that intro.
I just watched a Photoshop tutorial on the Blue Lightning TV YouTube channel. It shows how to create a 1940s horror movie title.
I was curious to see if @bentacular’s Bloom Effect would help making it look even more vintage. What do you think?

Maybe the Color Grading and Blur filters need a bit of adjustment, but I think it looks pretty good.
Amazing! Perfect use case!
Blooming good, @musicalbox!!
Many thanks Bentacular for another great tutorial - clear, concise and perfectly executed. Thanks as well for the update concerning the Mask:Simple Shape.
Roger
Love it!! Note so sure about the film title though but a superb application of the technique. Many thanks.
Roger
Thank you for watching! I appreciate you!
Thank you @robridge
It was an attempt to mix together old movie titles (Bride of Frankenstein + Dracula) and Ben’s nickname (bentacular).
Here’s a second attempt. With, as a bonus, animated fog and titles.
LOL! I was waiting to see the bride…
Now that I figured out the Bloom Effect, the next part of “old-school film” is “Halation.”
I’d love anyone’s thoughts on that.
Brilliantly spooky!
