Film from image sequence

Dear all,

I would like to create a video from an image sequence (PNGs). Is there a way to do so?

I could open the images, but don’t know how to get them to the timeline.

Currently I use VirtualDub for that purpose. It would be convenient to do that directly in shotcut.
