Export video failed

Greetings!
I’m having an error while trying to export a video.
I’ve been generating similar videos without no problems until this one.
I’m a beginner on this so excuse me if I missed any obvious configuration. I just accept the default options and selected Youtube Preset.

Partial error log is listed below.

I checked the AUTHORS file and it is there in the listed path. The message says it can’t be found.
I was using hardware encoder before but I disabled it after reading the FAQ.
I also already rebooted after reading a similar post.
Error remains…

Welcome to the forum!

Have you looked at past threads about the same error code?
https://forum.shotcut.org/search?q=%20-1073741819

For many people it comes down to:

  • Look at the time where the export stops and investigate your project around that time. Try removing filters or transitions around that time to see if one of them are causing a problem
  • Try disabling antivirus programs before exporting
  • See if there are any other cleanup/malware programs running that might be interfering
  • Make sure you are using the latest version of Shotcut
  • Try some of the suggestions here Export failed - Find solutions

I have this error from time to time as well on some videos. I’ve tried all the malware, antivirus, backup software, etc issues. Same version of Windows 10, Same exact files to export, same exact Shotcut version. The difference between the two one is Ryzen processor and one is an Intel processor. I’ve tried with both hardware and software encoders on both and it works every time on the older intel. Strange…

How can we tell where it stopped? It doesn’t seem to give any markers. Is the hex code able to be converted to a time?

EDIT… did a little more investigation and found it doesn’t like a simple jpg file that is on video track 2 with a fade in and resize applied to it. …after further trying things. It doesn’t like the resize of the graphic. If I have that filter checked it dies every time. Weird for such a simple filter on such a small 22kb file

Look at the time displayed in the jobs panel.

In your case, I would suggest to try moving the media on to your local disk and see if that improves anything. Maybe there is a network read error.

I actually moved it over to the network so I could process it via the laptop via WiFi which the Intel processor doesn’t have an issue processing it.
