Export MPEG-2 failed at 0%

So I was trying to convert a .wmv (which shotcut opened with no problem) to a mpeg2video,but it just imideatly failed without even starting,at first it said can’t open,then I ran it as an admin to try to fix it but it still failed,here is the admin job log

You did not provide your version or steps to let someone help more. Make sure you use an Export preset if you do not know what you are doing in Export > Advanced. You probably used some invalid combination of Format and Codecs. The advanced section does not prevent you from doing something incorrect. That is why there are presets.

The only thing I messed with on advanced was the export format,didn’t touch any codecs and it didn’t bring up any errors

Well, as I suggested, that is your problem. You cannot put H.264 video into a mpeg2video format file. Why are you changing things in Advanced when you are not advanced? Use the MPEG-2 preset.
