Buenas tardes,

Google Translate:
"Good afternoon,
Is it possible to do with Shotcut the whatsapp effect?
Thank you"
WhatsApp is a messaging platform. What effect relating to WhatsApp are you asking for?
Perdona, no me he expresado bien.
Lo que intento decir es si el programa shotcut, puede crear el TEXTO de efecto whatsapp, para reproducir una CONVERSACION?
No se si ahora queda más claro.
Muchisimas gracias.
She/he is asking:
Hello. It allows you to do the typewriter effect, that is, letter by letter. The background, the “baloons”, you will have to do them in a graphic editor like gimp or inkscape
Muchisimas gracias por la respuesta.
Intentaré hacerlo con otro editor.

If this is what you want to do then it can be done with Shotcut.
Made a chat thingy with Gimp.
Used Text:Simple, Rotate and Scale,Size and Position, Color Grading, and Mirror filters.
Buenas tardes Sauron,
Muchas gracias
The effect can be done with Shotcut. SC is my abbreviation for Shotcut.
I used Gimp to make the chat bubble.
Everythng else is done with Shotcut.
Here’s the project. I removed the video and the sound. You can look at the project to see how the keyframes were done.
Chat Bubble.zip (3.5 MB)
Genial Sauron!!
Creo que ya lo entiendo.
Voy a probarlo. Otra pregunta Âżcomo puedo cambiar el color de la burbuja?
Eres fantastico, de verdad!!
Anie
To change the bubble color use the Color Grading Filter.
Adjust the Highlights (Gain) wheel.
Perfecto, gracias!
Espero no molestarte más.
Un saludo
Anie
Buena suerte.
Great Sauron!
@sauron looking your mtl I saw that you use one discrete keyframe for the super bubble effect you showed in your video. Why? Which is the difference? Linear vs Discrete ?
I like a lot this kind of effects, and using linear seems difficult to me.
I used the discrete keyframe to make the bubble size snap back.
Discrete keyframes make the animation rapid.
For this I started with a linear KF then switched to discrete for the rapid action. Then when the ball drops I switched back to linear.for a smooth roll to a stop.
I was not able to do thing like this with the linear, because I vas not using the right keyframe.
Thank you very much!
