Hello. Going from classics editors, teaching Shotcut basics, but now that I am trying to edit a video with some complexity, I am having troubles with basic editing operations:
As I see, you can not cut various tracks, you have to make one by one, there is no way? Working with 9 audio and video tracks in vertical is a little difficult, adding that you have to add a filter volume by hand to mix audios.
But the more complex problem is with simple editing aof sync tracks. Have replaced the audio of a conference separating tracks and want to work as a group.
Tried the group function but it is not clear. First time it goes, having all ripples on, but for example trying to reduce a grouped zone on the left cutted zone does not work, same with right zone, it lose group so it is not a permanent group or I am missing something. The with undos I never get back to initial scenario nad ahve to reopen.
And as the waveform is very important to fine editing, losing it whren moving a clip is not a help.
Puting the best for me to move and teach Shotcut but sincerily find it very hard and no intuitive to do it. No problem to support with money the project if gets more easy to get basic editing easier.
And if I miss some tool about what I am asking please tell me. Very thanks
