Is there a shortcut to clear your IO points in Source window? The manual doesn’t mention it.
There are no shortcut yet.
4 keys in a row make the job: End I Home I
Thanks.
I used End I to clear the markers then only Home to jump back.
Odd, it’s not in the manual.
It’s not really a shortcut, but a sequence of keys.
The In and Out points are never cleared from the Source viewer. You can move them around by clicking and dragging or setting them in a different position with keyboard shortcuts, as @SergeC shows.
Video clip:
When first opened, Source will always default to In at the very beginning and Out at the very end.
Image clip:
You can set a default Duration when first opened in the properties panel. The source viewer adheres to that default duration with a 4-hour adjustable length. If you need a longer image clip, move the out slider or manually enter the timecode or frame number count, then o to set the out point.
To reset the In and Out points for a Video clip back when you first opened it in Shotcut, do this:
Home+i In point
End+o Out point
Keyboard Shortcuts are listed here: Look at Player
Keyboard Shortcuts are also shown and searchable in Shotcut itself.
