Audio cuts my video so there is only audio in that section

Hello,

Every time I try to add an MP3 file it cuts my Video track off so there is only a black screen left and I cannot figure out to have an audio file and a video file playing at the same time.

please help me!!

Read the tooltip that appears in your screenshot. Turn that mode off (Ripple All tracks) that has an icon like
Ripple means basically “affects other clips”
