I have a wide angle clip. I want to zoom in (a constant amount) for the first half and then start to zoom all the way out in the second half.
I have tried splitting the clip into 2 parts and zoom (and position) the first part the way I want. Then I copy all the settings on a piece of paper! Go to the second part and zoom the start according to what I copied down so it matches the first part. Use this as a key frame and leave the end of the second part alone.
Seems like copying numbers onto a piece of paper is not the best way to do this.
Why split it? You can change the zooming as many times as you like within one clip using keyframes. For instance, in this video the section from 2:26 to 2:51 is one large photo and Iām using keyframes to change the zoom and positioning several times; the same would work with a video clip.
