Is not the same as Add Video Track.

I guess, that you try to make one whole clip of all videotracks in layers including multiple clips and add it into a new added layer?
This is not possible! “You cannot add a project to itself”.

These have been added to the next version 19.09:

  • Ctrl+Alt+C - Copy Timeline to Source
  • Ctrl+Alt+I - Insert Track
  • Ctrl+Alt+U - Remove Track
