Will Shortcut up convert 1080 to 4K?

Hello friends…

New shortcut user here.

I am looking for easier video editing software to use other then DR 18.5. I use DR to up convert some 1080 video to fake 4K. I also have a drone that will shoot 2.7K and I use DR to up convert it to 4K.

Will shortcut let me up convert my older video to 4K?

Yes.
First, go to Settings > Video Mode and choose one of the 4k (UHD) presets.
Then, import your 1080p (or 2.7K) clips in Shotcut. They will be resized to fit the project dimensions (video mode).
