Why clips i add goes back to start of video?

In video while i add clip it goes directly to start of the video. While i put it second time it stays there where i wanted it to stay. It does that me all time, how to fix that clips i add won’t go to start of video. (sorry my english isn’t very good)

I also noticed that sometimes when switching from source player while the video is playing to project/timeline mode the playback time continues from what was previously in the source player.

In your case you are playing is running at second ~1 so the timeline is moved to around the first second.

I think you can avoid this if you hit pause in the source player right after you drag the video file from your file explorer and then drag it to timelinbe. You can also directly drag the file into the timeline to avoid this alltoghether.
