I just noticed this after switching to an AMD card from a Nvidia card. Unsure if it’s related, but here’s the problem. I do a lot of cross country driving and I upload them to youtube. I will join the files using a program called mp4 joiner which creates a large file. This file I can use in shotcut fine, except I can’t scrub through it at all because it’s such a huge file. So I usually will then run it through handbrake and convert it to a mkv and then edit it. This is when I have a problem, everything works fine until I try use the split function, then the preview window either goes white or is a checkboard. Obviously it’s related to converting it to a mkv file, but I’m not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.
