Which export preset?

Greetings all, from Australia.
New user / first post here.

I have lots of videos recorded by my TV, which I need to top-tail, cut ads trim etc.
I want save the edited videos, keeping the same visual quality but maybe use a better video CODEC /compression.

The recorded ‘PVR’ format is:
<file_name>.TSV
MPEG-2 (MPEG-TS
Video ID: yuv420p
Rate: 25 FPS
Resolution: 720*576
Standard: PAL

Which of the Export Presets do experienced users recommend (and why) ?

• I’m thinking one of the Stock. H264 (profile?), MPEG2, WMV

It is depending for what use? Youtube, other belongings.

Do not choose a preset = Export > Reset button = Default preset
