When i press export button, nothing happens

What is your operating system?
Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon x64

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
Shotcut 21.12.24 x64

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
Just add any video, open Export tab and press the Export File button

What package did you download or install? For example AppImage?

Check if the file save dialog has opened behind the Shotcut window. This happens for some strange reason with some builds on certain Linux desktop environments.

Thanks, it is working fine for me on Ubuntu 20.04 with GNOME Shell. Welcome to Linux fragmentation.
