when i open my video regularly from my desktop it has perfect audio. when i drag it to shotcut the audio becomes distorted and horrible sounding. i have no clue what to do because this is the first time its happening to me.
would the fact that its a 5 hr video make a difference?
Shotcut generates and caches a waveform thumbnail of the audio tracks once you drag it onto the timeline. For a 5-hour video, generating this waveform could take a long time and performance will suffer until it is done. Shotcut’s progress can be estimated by watching Task Manager or the blinking hard drive light on your computer.
