When changing video preview quality the effects break

About 2 weeks ago i found out that i can change my video quality preview down for less laggy realtime rendering, but when i changed it into a lower quality, some of my effects broke, well, broke as in some of it was…different from what i wanted. Also i dont remember what happened when i changed the video quality back but im pretty sure it was still broken

I was wondering if this was a bug or not and has it been patched so i can change my rendering quality, thanks

The Preview Scaling setting may be used to reduce the resolution of video processing when you are using a fair amount of filters, transitions, and track blending. This may help with the performance during the editing process. If this is happening and you have “laggy” processing without it use “Proxy Editing” instead.
