Before I film another video to edit, I would like to know if there is a length limit for editing videos in Shotcut? The one I am starting with to learn by is about 12 minutes, but we are hoping to film videos ranging anywhere from 20 to 50 minutes in length. Thank you.
I put nearly 9 hours of video in the playlist then added all to the timeline.
You won’t have problems with 20 to 50 minute videos.
The numeric limit in the engine for 60 fps is 9942 hours. You will certainly run into UI performance issues before getting anywhere close to that.
