Video barely scrolls

Hi
My computer seems to be laboring so hard to play back one video file. It can’t keep up with the video. It did not used to be like this.
Last time this happened I was told to use proxy and preview scaling which helped . But not now. I am using videos from my i Phone.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

It’s a seek issue with variable frame rate from the phone. Convert to edit-friendly and it should be better.
