Video and sound is skipping before I export

Hi There, I have created a video with multiple images and added a soundtrack but it begins to skip at the end of the video and gets even worse when I add a voice track too. Not sure if the software is unable to handle this or what is wrong.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I don’t know if this is your problem but it is advisable to enable the proxy and preview scaling features to improve Shotcut’s performance.
