V25.05.11 Crashing on multiple exports

Shotcut v25.05.11

In Shotcut v24.11.17 while the 1st Timeline Export of a 90 min video was actively exporting, I could set the Export type to “Each Playlist Item” (items are the entire Timeline cut into separate clips), click Export button again, set the options and complete the Export step, and all of the Playlist Clips would be added to the Job Queue and they all were executed in order.

Tried the same thing multiple times in v25.05.11 (downloaded and installed yesterday 2025-07-15) and Shotcut immediately crashes and shuts down as soon as the Export button is clicked, while the active Export is working.

Can’t include Job log, as after shutdown, Job Queue is empty, History is empty. Previous Jobs show in Recent, but only option is Remove.

I’ve attached the Shotcut Application Log, and OSX Crash Report.

Thanks,
Muiz

Thank you for the report. I have not been able to reproduce it, but I do kind of see what the problem might be from the crash report. It is in some special code to handle the default ALL playlist bin. I made a small change for the next release 25.07 that I think will work.

You can verify this by making a playlist bin, for example named “Export”. Add some clips to it, make it the current bin, and choose Export > From > Each Playlist Bin Item. That ought to be a workaround. In fact, when the custom bin is current, as you copy things from the timeline and add to the playlist; they should get added into the current bin.
