Using Shotcut 260226 on Mac Pro running Sonoma 14.8.4.
When I use the 15 Band audio filter on a clip I end with just noise/buzz/clicking and none of the original audio. Of course when I disable the filter everying is fine. If I use the 3 Band audio filter this doesn’t happen and it works as expected. I have tried the previous version of Shotcut and it is the same issue.
I do not experience this testing it on Windows 11 and Ubuntu. I do not have access to a Mac. Maybe there is something specific to the Mac build. Or maybe there is something about how you are using it. Can you share a screenshot of your filter panel?
I did not reproduce it on a M1 or Intel Mac. You did not provide the steps to reproduce the problem. That could mean that you are experiencing it within a project. Try to find the steps to reproduce it by starting with an empty Shotcut session.
Sorry ATM I am overseas away from home, back May, so impossible to get more details from my Mac Pro. I will re-look at it when I get back. I also have a windows 11 laptop which I can try when I get back. I was editing a music video and wanted to drop out the low bass, finished the job using the 3 band equaliser which worked.
