Unwanted black bars suddenly appeared all over my track

Hello… Suddenly invisible black bars have appeared at the sides of the clips i’m using to make my video…i.e the picture i got to slide out right at the edge of the screen now disappears off screen a third of the way in…I’m guessing from looking at another thread here that i’ve unwittingly turned on the “size/position/rotate” on the output, as the icon the guy showed for that has appeared on my output & its not on the other video output…If this is whats causing the problem though, how do i get rid of it so my clips go back to how they were before ? I can’t see how i get rid of it

The size/position/rotation icon isn’t appearing on the output because i’ve used it individually on most of my clips though, is it ?

Can you share a screenshot of your Shotcut project? That might give us some clues.

If the SPR filter is causing the problem, you need to find it and delete it. Try this:

  1. Open the filter panel
  2. Click on the output (upper left corner of the timeline). Are any filters in the filter panel?
  3. Click on each track head. Do any filters appear in the filter panel?
  4. Click on each affected clip. Do any filters appear in the filter panel?

Thanks Brian…I must’ve unknowingly switched the “Size/rotation” icon on the output on, so it had adjusted most of my clips…Once i’d seen where it was on it was just a matter of unchecking the box there for things to return to how they were
I had no idea that even existed to go over the whole track
