Unexpected Font Issue Recurring, Bold Text

Back in June 2024 there was bug report noted where text was appearing in bold using text rich, even if bold was not selected. The post was since closed.

But I am now getting this issue using the latest Shotcut version 25.03.29.
I’ve tried using the solutions listed on that post, ie copying text from text simple to text rich but to no avail.

I have also tried all the fonts and the bold text is applying to all of them.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Select the text, not only the filter, the text in the box. Then click the Bold icon on the formatting tool bar to toggle it.
