can anyone help me solve this problem?:
I installed Shotcut 25.01.25 (for the first time) on a Windows 11 v. 24H2 PC. In the “New Project” section I insert the folder, the name of the project and finally click on Start but I receive this error message: There was an error saving. Please try again.
In addition, after developing a project I can export but once again I cannot save because I receive the same error message “There was an error saving. Please try again”. Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thanks
This is often due to Windows protected folder access in system security settings. You can search here or on the web for more info about it including how to adjust/fix it.
Thanks for the reply but it doesn’t seem to me that this could be the reason because the access control to the folders in the “virus protection” section of my system is (and already was) disabled. The reason must be something else.
put all the videos image and etc to project…
and then choose File → Save as … should resolve …
Try a different folder in the New Project view or File > Save dialog.
