Trouble Exporting A Project

Hi all, I love Shotcut and have exported other projects before. However, now I’m having issues I can’t make heads or tails of, since I’m not a technically minded person. The project won’t export and the frames that the job log says are problems don’t seem to be doing anything particularly strange. I also updated to the latest version of Shotcut, but it just seemed to make the Job Log longer. Maybe that will be useful for those of you that can understand it.

Please help, it’s very appreciated as I spent multiple days on this. The Log is too long to post on the forum, so here’s a pastebin:

Maybe the info might help? Data is not aligned

I solved the problem for myself. I opened the MLT as file and exported it after that to mp4-file. And everything is now ok. But I still do not understand, why the export failed.

Thank you for isolating the problem a bit. I read that topic before, but I still don’t really know how to fix it. I don’t really know what the OP meant by “opened the MLT as file and exported it after that to mp4-file” and most of the replies were about how the errors weren’t logging correctly, which isn’t really information that I need.

Okay, I found out I can get it to export a file by lowering the frame count. However, when I do that, each track of the video gets completely desynced and ruins the timing.

I don’t know if that will help generate ideas, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

The problem’s probably long passed, but just in case someone else is having a similar issue to what I had i’ll put this here.

In a brand new Shotcut instance, select File > Open MLT XML as Clip.
Then, add a video track and paste the clip onto the timeline.
This way there’s one huge clip rather than a bunch of sequential desynching clips. This way the audio stays together with the video!

Hope this helps someone!
