Transition copy to all clips

Hi all,

Can we automatically copy transitions to all clips?

I saw it in another Video Edit program. I wish it was shotcut too…

So far as I know there is no way in Shotcut to save the parameters of one transition and copy them to another. It could be done by writing an external program that would do this by effectively editing the MLT project file, but you’d need to know what you were doing or risk corrupting the MLT file.

A preset (or copy-paste) for transitions would undeniably be useful.

You can use the slideshow generator to do that. Not the most convenient as it is based in Playlist, but if you plan ahead.
