Toolbar icons missing on ubuntu 21

Shotcut 21.01.31

Some icons of the UI are missing on my system. I’ve found it on the timeline toolbar and the filters panel so far, as shown on the screenshots here. This is almost certainly a packaging problem, missing icon libraries or fonts or something like that, but I can’t figure out what is missing on this installation.
