As I put Markers on different clips. Timeline Tool with Shortcut Key (>) helps me to go to the next Marker that physically comes next, not the Marker with ascending order name like (Marker 1 > Marker 2 > Marker 3…). I want to cut and paste the clips in order according to the Markers number I have given to them. It would be helpful, if you guys provide with a Timeline Tool with Shortcut key to go to the next Marker in ascending/descending order. And the other thing, the Auto-generate Marker name should generate Marker 1-9 to be Marker 01-09 because when I sort the Name in Markers toolbar it shows in this order Marker 1 Marker 10 Marker 11 Marker 2 Marker 3 Marker 4…Marker 9. Thank You
I am not sure if I am interested in this idea because it seems kind of niche. Does the alphabetical order of your marker names mean something to you? Like you do all of one camera angle with one marker name and another camera angle with a different name? Help me understand more why the alphabetical order of the markers does not match the time order and how the alphabetical order was chosen.
I am willing to make this change. But then, will some else request “Marker 001” because they have more than 100 markers? And will someone else request “Marker 0001”?
