26.4.30 (also present in beta/nightly 26.6.12) / Windows 10
A minor bug but very unexpected:
- add a bunch of filters to a clip in timeline
- disable all/some of these filters
- go to clip properties and change audio or video tracks (in my case I wanted to mute my video by going into Audio tab and choosing track “none”)
- → all filters present on that clip unexpectedly get reenabled
Hello Daniel, this won’t help you, but i recently had a similar “unexpected” behavior with applied filters. Mute doesn’t mute - Help/How To - Shotcut Forum
I never had this issue before, and maybe it is becauseof you told me herethat there is a function called “apply copied filters” on the timeline. My Mute-Filter, whicht didn’t mute, was applied by timeline, not pasted by the filter-window, as i normally did before. Because of you mentioned “add a bunch of filters to a clip in timeline”, i stumbled over it.
Maybe it has something to do with each other?
I’m not sure, these are distinct areas and I would expect the opposite problem in your case. I tried your case of mute + Apply copied filters to multiple clips and it works for me with no issues.
Adding to my original post: I have found that also changing the speed of a clips does the same bug of activating all present filters.

The problem affected most things that you can change in Properties for an A/V clip. The problem also occurs when using Copy All Filters and then Paste. This is fixed for the next version 26.6.
